Allison and Justin's day started at the beautiful Westminster Hotel in Livingston. Stacy second shot the groomsmen for me and I stayed with the girls. Next we headed to Jersey City for a beautiful and emotional ceremony. Having a second shooter at the ceremony allowed us both to capture the groom and brides expression and it was a nice long ceremony giving us plenty of time to move around. The couple chose not to take many family pictures and our plans to head to Liberty State Park were thwarted by the wind and rain outside. Bummer............Justin had one of the largest groomsmen crews I have every seen. There was a total of 12 guys and Allison had 7 Bridesmaids. They were a beautiful couple and so was their wedding party so I was bummed about not being able to take pictures outdoors. they were such a fun group to work with. Very outgoing too! The whole crew headed back to Livingston for the reception at the Crystal Plaza. We got there early and took pictures before cocktail hour started. Space is limited when you have that big of a wedding party indoors but we came up with some creative shots over the balcony and they brought a Diego Doll as a joke so that was part of the entertainment for the night.The party was fabulous and Allison and Justin really had a blast along with the few other hundred guests in attendance. The dance floor was packed and the DJ kept it that way all night. The DJ did an awesome job especially since the couple had a every alcoholic drink you could fathom. Even a martini bar made completely out of ice outside the room.Allison and Justin lost their father in a battle against cancer during the wedding planning. I say their father because Allison felt just as close to Justin's father as Justin. I am sure he was looking down on them and partying in up in heaven too, happy to see them together.
