10 25 09 The Wedding of Giselle and Mike at the Candlelight in Bethlehem PA Packer Memorial Church

12.21.2009

What a beautiful October Day Giselle and Mike had. They were married at the Packer Memorial Church at Lehigh University. Mike was lucky enough to attend school at such a beautiful campus. I remember working at this church with Agnes and Kim a few years ago and just being so awe inspired by the size of it.

Giselle really enjoyed being a bride, well except for the high heel shoes. I think those were the tallest heels I have seen a bride wear. Even little heels start to hurt after you have been standing in them a few hours, but it's ALL for looking good. As past brides will tell you there is little actually being "comfortable" on your wedding day. This is your day to look your BEST and it will come with every PAIN you could imagine. From the tight corsets, the spanx, the cookies, the workouts, to the massive amounts of bobby pins and hairspray that you will still find the day after the wedding. Let me not even go into the waxing regimen! Yet it is all so WORTH IT..............It may well be the best you will ever look in your life.
Ok I am getting of the subject. Sorry Giselle.

Back to Giselle (love that name). I thought she totally soaked in being a bride and took joy in all the pampering she was given. Enjoy it even if it's only for a day......take in what it feels like to be a total diva. She had two dresses so she could party the night away in a sleeker dress and good thing she did because their DJ rocked!

Their DJ was Freddie Fredrick Jr and we had a blast working with him. He is very professional and you can tell he really enjoys his job. Freddie had the dance floor packed just seconds after dinner with all great songs to keep the guests grooving. He also had a few tricks up his sleeve that everyone enjoyed and I have to admit I was impressed with his service. He is another highly recommended vendor on my list. He books up fast so don't hesitate on calling him and make sure you ask for Freddie to DJ your wedding.

The Candlelight Inn was also a beautiful location and I have heard great things about the restaurant also. Tracy helped assist this wedding and both of us thought the food was very good. The Centerpieces were magnificent and very unique. Every detail of the room look perfect right down to the pink flowered cake. We really had a great time working with Giselle and Mike.
