9 20 09 The Rocking Wedding Stacie and Derek at The Stroudsmoor Inn

Stacie and Derek were married at the Stroudsmoor Inn at the Poconos. This is the second wedding I have shot here and the grounds are breathtaking. They do multiple weddings in one day but they do a great job of keeping everything separate. They have a bridal salon on site as well as lodging, plus everything from the florist to the cake is done through them. It's like having your very own wedding planner. I loved how they decorated the reception room. Everything was exactly what they wanted. It reflected their style with out being too "dark".

Derek is in Public Relations and you can tell he is very good at his job. He enjoyed talking to everyone there. I had a hard time pulling the couple away from the wedding to do their portraits but hey no one wants to be away from such a great party.

They went Ol' Skool with the DJ's and they broke out the vinyl. They had a great mix of music but it didn't take much to get this crowd on the dance floor. I think everyone there was in the music business.

Shauna and Alim were married at the Strousdmoor Inn in the Poconos. What a beautiful location and they took care of every detail for Shauna and Alim. There is an on site beauty salon for the bridal party to get their hair and make-up done. Luxurious rooms to stay overnight in and a friendly staff to help with every need. The Stroudsmoor Inn is your personal wedding planner and I thought the idea was Fantastic!

Shauna and Alim had a wonderful day and they just looked so happy together. Shauna comes from a signing family and also teaches music. She sang a song to Alim and Alim even joined in to help her out. It was so cute and a moment they will never forget.
