9 13 09 The Engagement Session of Sarah and Adam

10.31.2009

Sarah and Adam are an energetic and a fun loving couple. Adam actually loved having his picture taken, even by himself which is so rare for guys. Usually I have to use a couple tips for the guys to relax but Adam felt right at home. Because of their relaxed attitude we all really just had a blast.

Most engagement sessions require a bit more posing then on the wedding day and I don't like to pose people too much. I feel this ruins making it look like yourself but Adam and Sarah were so comfortable being posed so I wonder what wedding day will bring? Maybe some model type photos? Oh I would love that!

They searched everywhere for a unique wedding location that didn't have the typical wedding look. The venue the choose is an old bank converted into a reception facility. I can't wait to see what they have in store for their wedding. Both have great artistic sense so I am excited to see how they make it their own.

8 28 09 Engagement Session Lori and Tom NYC

10.16.2009

Lori and Tom are currently living in Kansas but they are having their wedding in their favorite city next year. I can't wait to work with them again.

They were in town so we did a meeting/engagment shoot. The weather of course didn't cooperate and we couldn't reschedule so we did the shoot in the rain.

Lori was so energetic and Tom knew just how to make Lori laugh. We stopped at Grand Central Station for a few shots but with the dark skies outside there wasn't much natural light so we headed for South St Sea Port to take a few shots. Some shots were under the umbrella or whatever cover we could find to hide under. There was a short break in the rain so we took advantage of what we had to work with and then it was time for them to be off and back.

The couple is working with Alida and Angela from Juliet Events. If you girls need a wedding planner they cover "day of" to "total planning". Just click on the name of their company for their link.

Engagement Shoot in Seaside, NJ

5.21.2008

Christina and Jesse are getting married in November of 2008. They wanted to do a fun engagement shoot and after much debate they picked Seaside Heights for their location of choice. I had a great time with them, even though Christina was really nervous when the camera was pointed at her. I figured out when ever she looked at Jesse she forgot all about me so I just had him kiss her alot. It worked like a charm :)

Miranda and Rob's Engagement Shoot in Hoboken

2.06.2008

I had such a good time with Miranda and Rob in Sinatra Park - Hoboken, NJ. It was FREEZING so we kept it short and simple. Miranda was a perfect actress with pretending that she wasn't cold and Rob was a great guy who even changed wardrobe. They are such a sweet couple and I am really looking forward to their Vineyard Wedding in May! Thanks Mita for the recommendation to this sweet couple.
