12 19 09 The Winter Wedding of Erin and Jeremy Best Western Bethlehem PA

Erin and Jeremy's wedding feel on a snow storm. The snow started as soon as I got to her house for getting ready photos and when it was time to leave for the church the road was covered. I was a trooper and drove in the snow as it persistently got worse through out the day. I got stuck on the way to the reception but a nice guy got out of his suv and pushed my car. This happened to me twice! Once on the way home too but I found another nice guy to help push. The hills seem to always give me a problem under fresh snow. I am either sliding down them or I can't get up them.

Surprisingly for all the snow the couple had a good turn out at the reception at the Best Western in Bethlehem. This is the one time I was actually happy there were no windows at the reception because it would have been a distraction to the guests. The food is always good here and the Maitre de is always great.

The couple gave out fake snow but they didn't really need it since the real stuff was coming down.
Erin's Grandfather made these stained glass doors at the Bethel Memorial Baptist Church.
Erin's Aunt hand made her this cloak and it came in handy with the winter snow

I never knew Boxers had so long tongues!
Yep, those are camo suspenders and I thought he Christmas ones were silly!

10 03 09 The Wedding of Jacqui and Ryan at the Best Western Bethlehem PA

Jacqui is a sister to a wedding that I shot last year. I have know Jacqui for a few years and she is always in sweat pants, a t-shirt and sneakers. I rarely have seen her in anything else so when I saw her all dolled up and in a wedding dress it was amazing.

Her trolley was over a half hour late to pick up the bride and her wedding party to get to the church. I would not recommend the trolley from Elegant Arrivals and this is the second bad experience with them. It really put a damper on the rest of the day since everything was pushed back by a half hour. We had planned to take pictures at Moravian College where Jackie is an alumni but due to the trolley delay we didn't have time. Instead used the grassy area in front of the Best Western. The couple remained positive though and that's all that matters. They still enjoyed every second of their day.

The Best Western in Bethlehem is a popular place for many weddings on the larger side. There really aren't too many places that can entertain over 200 guests in the area.

They had a great band named Monte Entertainment who are based out of Paterson and a DJ named Bradley of Independent DJ Services.
