4 4 09 Danielle and Rich's Wedding at the Smithville Inn

4.24.2009

Danielle and Rich were married on a beautiful but windy day at The Smithville Inn. Smithville is a quaint little town and due to the distance I stayed for a few days. We spent one day in Atlantic City (not my favorite place) and one day in Smithville. My husband came along and second shot his first wedding! Some of his pictures are featured in the slide show. It was great having the extra coverage and getting the different angles. The great thing was we told each other where to be without even saying a word! We really had a great time working together and having the piece of mind that there are two people taking the shot. If anyone is interested in hiring him to second shoot their wedding, just shoot me an e-mail. I have a few already lined up for 2009 including the Bahama wedding!

By having my husband second shoot they virtually doubled their pictures and the slide show is the longest one I have ever made!

The Smithville Inn was a great place to get married. They have rooms available right on the property. A carousel, a train, quaint little shops, a pond and a place to have your wedding. Danielle and Rich made a great choice for their wedding.

Danielle and Rich chose to see each other before the ceremony so we could take plenty of pictures. Danielle had a great idea of covering Rich's eye and I LOVE her reaction to when she first saw him! It's a classic :)
There is so much to talk about with this wedding. The flashlight that Rich had strapped to his head when he went hunting for the garter. The girl who caught the brides bouquet and then threw it to the guys as Rich threw the garter. That made everyone laugh. The Michael Jackson Dancer who performed not once but twice! It was such a fun night and I am sure their one their guests will never forget.
